The Bencini was an Italian camera maker based in Milan and had produced many cameras, mostly made of cast aluminium and among them the Bencini Koroll which had a few facelifts throughout the 1950-60s. They take 120mm roll film but mine, the Koroll S differs significantly from the other newer Koroll 24s & Koroll II & III in the sense that it takes square photos plus 6x9 and half frame (the latter options need masks). I like the fact that this camera is able to take artsy/creative photos with that soft & dreamy focus not unlike the Diana but is also able to produce significant bokeh if opened at the largest aperture. It’s design also differs from other medium format cameras of it’s time, which I think is pretty rad. Ah, I really love square format, don’t you?

Very cool! I have one of those as well, the Korall II. Maybe there are not enough of these around to be a big hit, but I picked mine up for 10 dollars and it seems a lot more cool than a Holga or Diana to me. The aluminum finish is nice too!
